Hotshot PayGuard is a payment-protection toolkit for hotshot drivers and small fleets that run time-critical freight — the 40-foot trailer, the same-day pickup, the load that has to be on the dock by morning. Those loads move fast, and the paperwork and the payment usually move slower than the truck. This app closes that gap by keeping the load, the agreement, the proof and the money in one place.

Every load you log carries its rate, lane, mileage and terms. The rate confirmation, bill of lading, delivery photos and receipts sit on the same record, so the evidence is together before anyone asks for it. From those numbers you build a digital load agreement the broker reviews and signs from a link on their own phone — no account, no printing, no scanner. The signature, typed name and timestamp are recorded for both sides. Invoices then run on the payment clock you agreed to, and anything that drifts past due is flagged, chases a reminder, and can produce a formal payment demand.

Before you take a load from a broker you have not worked with, the broker check shows what other drivers have recorded about how they pay — late payment, rate cuts, unauthorized deductions, silence — and lets you file a documented report of your own. Hotshot PayGuard is built and maintained by the Hotshot PayGuard team alongside hotshot owner-operators and small carriers, so the workflow follows how the freight actually moves rather than how a spreadsheet thinks it should. It runs on a phone in the cab and at a desk at home, and access is a flat monthly subscription.
